Dating Diary[edit]
With the New Year just passed, I had my first piece of good fortune. My application to observe the Loveland City SWAT team practical skills exercise was finally accepted. Looking at the venue before me, I was feeling really excited.
I never expected that I would see Gavin at the training ground. Called "The Star of SWAT", he fired off ten rounds and all ten hit their mark. He really was incredible. When he saw me, he looked excited, but because he was so busy, like the wind he quickly disappeared again into the army of people there. Knowing that he was there, I felt completely at ease.
While Gavin was having a break, he taught me how to shoot. In that instant when his body and mine made contact, my mind went completely blank and my heart went wild. But seeing how serious he was about teaching me, I calmed down again, and I even hit 7 rounds! I felt a little concerned about whether or not Gavin got so intimate when he was teaching others, but thankfully he said he only ever gave private lessons to me. That made me happy.
At this place, I saw Gavin's past. Gavin had told me before about his stories with the police dog Farley. I also talked to him about my father dying, and once again we got to know each other a lot better. But the most memorable part was that kiss from Gavin. It was all like a dream. Did it really happen?
