Dating Diary[edit]
I was still rattled by what happened last night in the alley, so I decided to text Gavin a thank-you but was shocked to find a note from him asking me out on the weekend.
I got nervous just thinking about the date all week, but I admit I was also full of anticipation. After days of mixed emotions, the weekend finally arrived.
I was so occupied with picking out accessories that Gavin was gone when I was done. In my frenzy to look for him, a shopping cart would've blindsided me if he didn't pull me into him in time. He showed off a plush rabbit that he claimed to resemble me. It was the first time I ever saw a child side in him.
Fantasies ran through my mind as I stared at the models. I laid down on a bed and accidentally touched a button that turned on the star lIght. It felt like I was in a dream. Gavin slid over beside me and time stopped when our eyes locked. I've never seen such gentleness in someone's glance.
