Unlocked after completing Chapter 5-3 in the Main Story, Ascend is another way to strengthen Karma by unlocking additional attribute stats, Karma Frame, Skill, Clothing and Voice. Requires C general sand5 big.png Memory Stardust and a minimum Karma level, to first unlock Ascend and gain an initial attribute stat boost:

  • R Karma = Level 20 + 75 Stardust = +24 All Attribute Stats
  • SR Karma = Level 25 + 105 Stardust = +35 All Attribute Stats
  • SSR Karma = Level 35 + 150 Stardust = +48 All Attribute Stats

Unlocking the Ascend nodes requires new materials obtainable through Heart Trial, Karma Pass, and purchasable through the 24hr Challenge Store and Wish Tree Store. The items are:

Karma Frames are unlockable decorations that appear on the edges of the Karma card. They will sparkle and obtain a deeper color.

Skill Node[<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-pencil"></span> ]

The Karma Skill is a node in the middle of the Ascension path.
Once a Skill node is unlocked, it will randomly assign the Karma a Skill. An example skill may be something like: Decision +1.6%, +24% Decision Pts (15% Chance During Shoot). Note that the Skills which have the chance of triggering During Shoot - are completely useless in the Box Office Contest and 24hr Challenge. (not confirmed)
They only trigger in Normal or Epic Missions, Footage and Heart Trial.

After unlocking Ascend, there is a Main Path with Nodes to unlock, you can't skip nodes. Each Node unlocks additional attribute stats, Karma Frame, Skill, Clothing or Voice. Each difficulty has an optional Side-Branch which unlocks additional attribute stats. The detailed node breakdown is as follows:

Notes

  • <Attribute Stat> Item depends on which attribute stat is being boosted. For example, if execution is being boosted, then you will need Low Execution items.
  • Amount of materials and attribute stat boost is dependent on Karma Rarity. The higher the rarity, the higher the materials required and the attribute stat boost.

As soon as all Nodes (including all Side-Branches) are unlocked, the Karma Label on the top left corner (SSR*) will become White instead of Red! The following Table doesn't include the initial attribute stat boost.
